We got some details back in February about a new Pokemon mobile game, which its story will be surrounding the useless Magikarp (like seriously??). Anyway, the game is now officially titled Pokemon: Magikarp Jump and soft-launched in Italian App Store.
You will be able to collect, feed and train different Magikarp to splash as high as possible, then battle with the others. There will be different styles and colours of Magikarp, and you can build an aquarium to house them in. Other iconic Pokemon such as Pikachu and Charizard will make guests appearances to help you out too. There is still no word on Android or worldwide release yet, but here is a gameplay preview.
