Pokemon Go – Santa Hat Pikachu Is Back This Jolly Season!

Like every festive season, there’s a reason to celebrate. Games on the other hand are celebrating too! Santa Hat Pikachu is coming around in Pokemon Go bringing all sorts of jolly-season goodness too! The event will run from 21st December to 4th January 2018.

However this time, the return of Santa Pikachu will also be increasing Ice-type Pokemon encounters around the world. Based on our sources, it was suggested that Delibird, a Gen 2 Pokemon could be making an appearance this coming Christmas. Other Water and Ice-type Pokemon from Ruby and Sapphire will also be included in the coming update. From the looks of the event’s official artwork, Luvdisc, Sharpedo, Snorunt, Milotic and Kyogre are expected to be included.

While Niantic is in their generous mood, players will also be getting a free single-use Egg Incubator at their first PokeStop visit every day. However players will need to visit any first PokeStop of the day between December 22nd and December 25th to collect those Egg Incubators.

Santa Hat Pikachu is also throwing in a discount from the in-game shop on those special boxes. The special boxes contain items like Super Incubators, Lure Modules, Premium Raid Passes and Star Pieces which will be at a discounted price up till January 4th.
