With the recent complaints from the Pokémon GO community about the changes in the game, Pokémon GO has posted a reply on Facebook addressing those issues. Previously, we wrote about how Niantic had serious problems with informing the public and communicating with their fan-base, hopefully their reply has answered some of the questions that other players had in mind:
In short, Pokémon GO had removed the ‘3-step’ tracking feature because it did not meet their expectations. They also explained that third-party services had to be shut down due to how taxing they were on their servers. While these were made with good intentions, Niantic seeks to provide stable servers worldwide, and these third-party services are interfering with their progress.
I applaud their efforts in finally giving some response to the players, however, I still feel if there were any future updates, it’s more fair for the players to be informed before they make a change.
