Pokémon GO to hold its Valentine’s Day event

Just when you thought there is not much else to do in Pokémon GO, Niantic announced that it will be holding a Valentine’s Day event. Players logging in will be offered an assortment of bonuses in conjunction with the day itself.

Pink Pokémon such as Chansey, Clefable, and Jigglypuff will be appearing with greater frequency for players to catch. Furthermore, when hatching eggs using the incubator, you are more likely to find Cleffa, Igglybuff, or Smoochum. Smoochums appear in 10km eggs, whereas the 2km eggs will feature Cleffas and Igglybuffs.

During the event, candy acquisition rates and Lure Module durations have been increased as well. Pokémon GO is  currently available for Google Android and Apple iOS devices.
