After a few weeks of special and massive updates involving the Legendary Pokemon, finally Pokemon GO is back on track with their regular global events. Recently, Niantic announces an in-game event (going live on 22 September to 2 October) to celebrate the upcoming equinox.
In this event period, you will be able to earn double Stardust from capturing Pokemon and hatching eggs. There will be some special 2km eggs available on PokeStops and Gyms too, hatching these special eggs may give you uncommon Pokemon – Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar and more. You can also buy special boxes from the in-game shop for Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules and the all-new Super Incubators which hatch Eggs 1.5 times quicker.
Besides, you will earn triple XP when you register a new Pokemon to your Pokedex during the celebration. A good time to hunt down the new Legendary Pokemon! Raikou, Entei and Suicune will all move to a different location when September ends so catch them while you can! Here is the list of the region where the Legendary Pokemon is available (due on September 30):
- The Americas – Raikou, Electric-type Legendary Pokemon
