The Netflix exclusive stop-motion animated series set in a resort for the adorable catchable critters, Pokemon Concierge debuted a new trailer alongside a release date announcement.
Previously revealed during a Pokemon Direct stream in February, Pokemon Concierge now has a new 2-minute-long trailer to coincide with its release date announcement of 28 December 2023, exclusively on Netflix.
Set at a Pokémon Resort, the story follows a concierge named Haru and her Psyduck friend as they scramble about to attend to the many Pokémon guests.
The series is produced by dwarf studios, a Japan-based animation production house known for their previous works on Netflix such as ‘Rilakkuma and Kaoru’ and ‘Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure’.
“Netflix is looking forward to delighting fans in Japan and around the world with ‘Pokémon Concierge,’ an entirely new visual and storytelling experience featuring ground-breaking stop-motion animation set in the Pokémon world in close collaboration with The Pokémon Company,” said Minyoung Kim, Vice President of Netflix Content in Asia, during the Pokémon Presents stream where the series was first revealed.
“We’re also excited to reveal this new series on Pokémon Day and provide fans with even more things to look forward to on this special holiday celebrating the popular franchise.”
As mentioned, Pokemon Concierge will be premiering exclusively on Netflix on 28 December 2023.
