The Pokemon Company has announced that it is collaborating with Baskin Robbins to make a limited-time Pikachu and Sprigatito flavored ice cream.
The event is called the “31 Poke Summer! Campaign”. From the 21st of July, Baskin Robbins will be selling the “Pachipachi ice cream with Pikachu and Sprigatito”, a Pineapple and Green Apple flavored ice cream with popping candy inside of it.

Aside from the Pokemon ice cream, Baskin Robbins customers can also purchase the “Pokemon Double Cup” which includes two scoops of ice cream in a Pokemon-themed cup, the “Pokemon Special Set” which is a themed box with different ice cream, and “Pikachu’s Glittering Jelly Soda” which is an ice cream based milkshake. Customers will also get a free random Pokemon sticker for every Double Cup purchased.
The merchandise contains artwork of Pikachu as well as the three Pokemon Generation 9 starter Pokemon: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.
I have to say, of all the flavors I’d figured Pikachu would taste like, I never thought it would be pineapple. Granted I haven’t thought much about what an electric rodent would taste like in general but I suppose it fits the yellow coloring of Pokemon’s adorable mascot.
The latest Pokemon title, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is available for the Nintendo Switch.
