Needy needs
Always pay attention to the to the Residential, Commercial and Industry demand chart at the top left of the screen, as this will serve as your primary guide as to how to go about building your city.
Stay awhile and listen
Quests are side objectives that you get to fulfill which in turn rewards you with experience, money and other forms of rewards so always check this screen to find out what you need to do.
Money buys happiness
As the game informs you, building banks are the only way to increase your funding cap, but if you find yourself having more money than you need at the moment, you can always lower your taxes. Not only will it make your citizens much happier, you will be able to ensure that the accrued revenue do not go to waste because you were too slow in deciding what to do with the money.
Greed is good
Conversely, if you find yourself short on funds and want a quick injection of experience, you can always call upon the gods and unleash disasters on your population. Of course, you might end up destroying more than the aid you get in return, so do it with care.
Party people hey
Recreational events are an easy way to gain experience and make your citizens happy, so be sure to use as much of it whenever you can.
