With the PS5 launch still ongoing, multiple countries are celebrating by having PlayStation-themed lightshows in major cities all over the world.
With the second wave of PS5 launches today, PlayStation Asia and Playstation Middle East have celebrated their launches, with lightshows in Singapore and Dubai. They posted the celebratory videos as part of the growing train of PlayStation launch tweets.

In Asia, the Marina Bay Sands Garden Park was lit up in Playstation colors, complete with projection effects. The iconic spires of the gardens had PlayStation’s face buttons projected on them, with a video of the sight posted on their social media.

The PS5 also launches in the Middle East today, and thus, the PlayStation Middle East account has also followed suit. The Burj Khalifa, the megastructure of Dubai, was also lit up in a display of brand loyalty to the PS5. Theirs was a lot more elaborate than the Singapore display, featuring the entire tower lit up like a screen to show the new Dualsense controller, as well as the PS5 console itself.
It’s also helped by the fact the Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building, and its lightshow spanned the entire length of the skyscraper.
Both these videos featured extensive use of aerial photography, showing the iconic sites lit up from angles not normally possible for people.
While PlayStation Asia has celebrated the launch of the console in the SEA region, the console will not officially launch until December 10th for other Non-Singapore countries.
