Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions for January 2025, headlined by the acclaimed action-adventure God of War Ragnarök. The new titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting January 21. God of War Ragnarök leads the lineup, offering players the chance to join Kratos and Atreus on their journey through the Nine Realms during Fimbulwinter. The game continues the story from the 2018 release as father and son face the impending threat of Ragnarök.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name joins the catalog, following Kazuma Kiryu’s story after he faked his death to protect his family. The action game features intense combat and various activities throughout vibrant locations. Other notable additions include Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand, an action RPG offering solo and cooperative gameplay with enhanced features and new content. SD Gundam Battle Alliance brings Mobile Suit action to the service, allowing players to form three-person teams in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
The catalog also welcomes several distinctive titles: the cyberpunk action-adventure ANNO: Mutationem, the arcade-style Sayonara Wild Hearts, the tabletop-inspired Citizen Sleeper, the tower defense game Orcs Must Die! 3, and Poker Club for card game enthusiasts.
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will receive additional classic titles: Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, originally released for PS2 in 2009, and MediEvil II from the original PlayStation. Both classics feature modern enhancements including up-rendering, rewind functionality, quick save options, and custom video filters.
Additionally, PlayStation Portal owners who are Premium members can now access Cloud Streaming (Beta) for select PS5 games in the Game Catalog following a recent system update. All new additions will be accessible to eligible subscribers starting January 21, 2025.
