Playstation Challenges You to Summer Playground

Sony has announced ‘Summer Playground’ as a celebration for Gamer’s skills, dedication and sportsmanship within the Playstation community. This will be a series of challenges that will take place from August 5th to August 24th with prizes up for the taking.

To participate in Summer Playground, you just need to sign in to your Playstation Network account or sign up on the Official Summer Playground Website. Once entering, each contestant will become part of a ‘Play Marathon Squad’ consisting of all entrants from each participating region. The Squad will play together to reach the Squad Goal. Entrants will also have the chance to win more prizes by completing the individual and trophy challenge.

Challenge (1): Play Marathon – Squad Challenge

Join the squad and play to clock gaming hours. Once achieved the goal, everyone in the squad can receive an exclusive set of Summer sports-themed TORO avatars.

Challenge (2): Most Valuable Player (MVP) – Individual Challenge

The Top 30 MVPs who play the longest hours in the selected sports titles (https://www.playstation.com/en-my/local/campaigns/summer-playground/title-list/) in each participating region will be awarded a PlayStation®Plus (PS Plus) 12-month membership.

Challenge (3): Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) – Trophy Challenge

For the Trophy Challenge, entrants can play any game title of their choosing. The winners are determined by a Point Value system and the number of Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies they earned respectively during the promotion period. The Top 3 entrants with the highest number of points in each participating region will be awarded an exclusive money-can’t-buy G.O.A.T medal. These Top 3 winners and the next 30 winners of each region can also get PlayStation™Store (PS Store) voucher.
