PlayStation Celebrates 30 Years with Nostalgic Limited Edition Collection for Southeast Asia

As PlayStation approaches its 30th anniversary, Sony Interactive Entertainment is bringing a touch of nostalgia to Southeast Asian gamers with a special limited edition collection. The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, set to release on November 21, 2024, features designs inspired by the original PlayStation console launched in 1994.

The collection includes various PS5 hardware options adorned in the iconic gray color scheme of the first PlayStation. Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, will have access to the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle. This bundle comes with a 1TB SSD, a matching DualSense wireless controller, and a console cover for an optional disc drive.

Additionally, for those seeking standalone accessories, the collection offers the PlayStation Portal Remote Player, DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, and standard DualSense Wireless Controller in the anniversary design. These items will be available in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, with the controllers also reaching the Philippines and Vietnam.

In Singapore, a special pre-order contest for the high-end PlayStation 5 Pro Console 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle will begin on September 26, 2024. This exclusive bundle features a 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7 capability, and additional limited edition accessories. Moreover, pre-orders for other items in the collection will start on the same date across participating Southeast Asian retailers.
