Within the span of just over a day, Platinum Games Vice President Hideki Kamiya has seemingly deleted or deactivated his Twitter account only to bring it back shortly after.
This comes following the controversial revelation that Bayonetta voice actress Hellena Taylor was only offered 4000 USD to play the main character in Bayonetta 3, leading her to turn the role down.
Kamiya then gave a rather volatile reaction on his own Twitter stating the following:
“Sad and deplorable about the attitude of untruth. That’s all I can tell now. By the way, BEWARE OF MY RULES.”
These rules refer to Kamiya blocking anyone that doesn’t reply or message him in Japanese. While this was originally seen by many fans as a joke, upon this most recent news many have seen it in a far more negative light with many saying that it is unprofessional and rude in the face of pretty serious accusations.
Since posting this tweet, Kamiya has gone on a blocking streak only to have his account suspended. While we do not have confirmation, it is implied that this is due to the abnormal amount of people that he was blocking.

Despite these incidents, Hideki Kamiya’s Twitter account seems to be back now with all of his followers and messages intact. It’s likely that he simply reactivated his account. After the recent controversy, however, it would probably be in his best interest to keep quiet and perhaps not block so many people.
