During the Grand Finals day of the Asia-Pacific Predator League 2022, the Vietnamese professional PUBG: Battlegrounds team – Genius Esports takes home the gold, winning a grand total of $75,000 (RM 347,062.50).
The Genius Esports roster consisted of: sxmeth1ngelse, Yuta, Clories, SimonT and Zest were able to collect 5 Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinners (WWCD) out of the 15 matches with a total of 190 points. A substantial amount of difference compared to the second and third placed teams who were only able to collect a total of 125 points.
The Korean based team – DAMWON Gaming (DWG KIA) had placed second, winning a total of $30,000, while the third place winners from The Philippines – ArkAngel Predator had won $15,000, summing up the Top 3 places here at the Asia-Pacific Predator League Grand Finals over in Japan.
While DAMWON Gaming and ArkAngel Predator had scored a similar 125 points each, DAMWON Gaming ultimately had placed higher due to having 2 more WWCDs along with a higher placement as compared to the Philippine squad.
