Pikachu Leads the Pack: Pokémon Run Malaysia Debuts in Kuala Lumpur

For Pokémon enthusiasts, Malaysia is gearing up to host its first-ever Pokémon Run on November 10, 2024. The event, sponsored by Julie’s Biscuits, will take place at the Piazza, Bukit Jalil Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur.

The main attraction is a 4KM Challenge Run, designed to be accessible for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Runners can expect a route filled with photo opportunities featuring popular Pokémon characters. Each participant will receive a comprehensive kit including an official running shirt, bib, drawstring bag, visor, towel, and a commemorative medal. Additionally, the kit will contain an exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game Fun Pack and Playmat.

Event organizers emphasize the family-friendly nature of the run, encouraging parents to join their children in exploring the specially designed course.

This is a fun run, so parents can run with their kids and have fun exploring our running route, which will be filled with photo zones, where runners can take pictures with their favorite Pokémon! The items in our Running Kit are also specially designed just for the Pokémon Run in Kuala Lumpur 2024, so make sure you don’t miss this opportunity!

Pre-registration is currently open with an early bird price of RM120, available until September 30, 2024. After this date, the registration fee will increase to the standard price of RM140. Complementing the run is a four-day Pokémon Festival, scheduled from November 7 to 10 at the same location. This free-admission event will feature various activities, including:

• Carnival games with a Pokémon theme
• An inflatable play zone featuring Pokémon characters
