PGA Tour 2k21 Adds New Multiplayer Modes

PGA Tour 2K21 is adding a slew of new multiplayer modes to play on the go, 2K announced today. The update, which also adds new cosmetics, is available starting today.

The new multiplayer modes are designed to be much faster than the game’s previous modes. These are all centered around the new three-holes matchmaking.

Three-holes matchmaking has players queued into games that only last three holes, a opposed to the nine or 18-hole courses of regular golf. For matchmaking, three holes are selected at random from the game’s courses. The matchmaking features two new playlists.

High Rollers will have players compete in intense one-on-one tee-offs. 2K says the game type will have high risk and reward, however have not mentioned the specifics.

Meanwhile, Quick Match features stroke play of two to four players. As per the trailer, the aim of this mode was for “Stroke play that doesn’t take all day”.

In addition to these modes, the new update for PGA Tour 2K21 will also add several new cosmetics for your MyPLAYER.

The headliner of these cosmetics is a new adidas CODECHAOS 2K Aeroready Shirt. While available in the game now, you’ll also be able to buy the shirt for real from the adidas website.
