Fans of Konami’s PES 2021 (Formally known as eFootball PES 2021 Season Update) can take to the virtual pitch for glory as the eFootball.League kicks off December 7th.
The league will be split up into two parts, with the eFootball.Open being targeted at regular players of PES 2021, while professional football clubs will play in eFootball.Pro, which starts December 12th.
The format for eFootball.Open is as follows:
eFootball.Open is available to all users and takes place in certain Matchday events that use preset teams. Meet the conditions set out in each stage of the tournament to earn eFootball Points*, a new type of currency that can be exchanged for various in-game bonuses. The top performing competitors in each round will earn a place to proceed onward and may eventually be selected to compete in the World Finals in July 2021
The tournament is in a 1v1 format, and even if you don’t intend to make it to World Finals, the eFootball Points sound like a good way to get some neat items.
Meanwhile, eFootball.Pro will see the best PES players, selected to join the world’s top Football clubs compete in the popular Football eSport. According to Konami, the format had to undergo some change this year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, As a result, the matches will be played in 3v3 co-op.
These matches will be available to stream online, with more information available via Konami’s website.
