A placeholder logo for Persona 6, a currently unannounced title in the popular JRPG series by Atlus, has apparently been leaked.
The logo in question is shared by みどり (Midori), who has garnered quite a reputation as a reliable leaker and Atlus insider in the community.

Take this with a massive grain of salt, as the logo shared is noted as a placeholder and the final version could end up wildly different.
As a nature of leaks, unless there is an official acknowledgment, not everything should be taken at face value and Persona 6 may end up not in development right now for all we know.
That said, it has been 8 years since Persona 5 and fans are eagerly waiting for the next entry in their favorite JRPG series. As of writing, Atlus is working on a new IP with Metaphor: ReFantazio, an equally stylish JRPG but with a more fantastical setting.
The new leak has also been sparking many debates online on the symbolism, especially the color scheme, with many believing that the color green will be the primary color of the game.
In the Persona games, the primary color is generally used to represent an emotional theme of the game. As example, Persona 5 uses red to emphasize anger, corruption, and rebellion, while Persona 4 uses yellow for its optimistic view on hardship.
This was also backed up by speculations by fans when a piece of artwork was released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the franchise, where a bucket of green paint was suspiciously spotted in the corner among a line of series protagonists.
Again, this is a leak. Until the official announcement, it should be taken with a grain of salt, especially when the logo is supposedly a placeholder and does not represent the final product.
