ATLUS has shown off the new character Guernica alongside more information for the Repaint Your Heart DLC for Persona 5 Tactica.
Repaint Your Heart is an additional Challenge DLC launching alongside Persona 5 Tactica on November 17th, and sees the Phantom Thieves exploring The Streets- the turf of the fearsome Guernica.
Guernica is a street artist, capable of doing large-scale art without leaving a trace- gaining the attention of Akechi Goro, who investigates the scene with Kasumi and Joker.
This follows her latest street art, which shows the Persona Arsene- something that anyone without a Persona shouldn’t be able to even see.
Being sucked into the painting, the DLC has Akechi, Joker and Kasumi now having to stop Guernica’s rampage with new levels as well as a new mechanic.
They also meet Luca, another new character here to help them get out of their predicament.
In keeping with the street art theme, the DLC introduces a new paint mechanic- doing damage in an area will cover it in your squad’s paint color, with enemies who stand in it losing the ability to guard and being vulnerable to being knocked down.
However, the same things also apply to the player’s team, putting greater emphasis on positioning and the like.
Additionally, SEGA have confirmed that completing both the main story and DLC will unlock Akechi and Kasumi to be used in the main game levels as well.
This marks the first time Joker, Kasumi and Akechi would have been reunited in a game since Persona 5 Royal, with the trio being playable in the latter end of the title.
