Alongside the character reveals, new information about the game’s combat system has also been revealed.
Similar to the original Persona 5 game, a notable feature of Persona 5 Tactica battle systems is the ability to swap characters during battles, which will allow you to set up a larger attack area and hit more enemies.
However, a key departure from the original lies in Tactica’s ability to let you strategically position your party members at varying elevations on the battlefield.
Securing a high ground position offers advantages, as it allows you to knock down enemies, opening them up for follow-up attacks from other party members.
As expected with every new entry in the Persona series, this game will feature a diverse array of enemy types for players to confront.
These include the Musketeer, a ranged combat specialist, the Grenadier, focused on melee attacks, and the Little Drummer, adept at healing and buffing allies.
Pre-orders for Persona 5 Tactica are now open, and the game is set to launch on November 17, 2023, across various platforms including Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
