SEGA reports that the Persona 5 series has broken 10 million sales worldwide, and will be having a sale on the series to celebrate.
The publisher has announced that Persona 5 Royal will be available at a 50% discount on the Nintendo eStore, PlayStation Sore as well as Steam.
This sale will start from December 19th and run until January 2nd on Nintendo Switch, with details on the other platforms available soon.
While SEGA didn’t provide the exact breakdown of the Persona 5 series sales, we have a rough idea of its performance on PC- Gamalytic reports that Persona 5 Royal has sold at least 1 million copies, making it a tenth of the series worldwide sales alone.
Other titles in the series include pseudo-sequel Persona 5 Strikers as well as tactics spinoff Persona 5 Tactica, as well as dancing spinoff Persona 5: Dancing Star Night.
The Persona 5 series has incredibly far reach- the original Persona 5 was released on PS3 and PS4, while spinoffs featuring the Persona 5 cast like the Persona Q series were released on the 3DS.
Meanwhile, Persona 5 Royal, the definitive version of the original Persona 5 was released on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One as well as Nintendo Switch on PC, alongside being available on PC Game Pass.
