SEGA has released new information for Persona 3 Reload, which covers the Tartarus portions of the upcoming RPG.
Tartarus is a massive labyrinth, featuring several big quality-of-life features in Persona 3 Reload as compared to its base game appearance.
The biggest of these changes comes in the form of the new Auto Heal feature- with just the press of a button, you can now have your entire party healed, as well as the sprint feature for moving around Tartarus faster.
Additionally, Tartarus will also reward having enough party members to spare- after certain battles you’ll be able to have characters leave your party for reconnaissance, and when they rejoin you on the next floor you’ll get bonus items and rewards.
Shuffle Time also returns in Persona 3 Reload, letting you get random buffs after certain encounters.
These can potentially turn the tide of the battle with effects like enhancing the damage of All-Out Attacks, or even boosting EXP gain, which will last for the remainder of the day.
These also tie in to Arcana Burst, where collecting enough Major Arcana cards will increase the rewards of all cards collected to empower your run.
There’s also Monad’s Door, a gate that can open and leading to high-level enemies with equally high-level reward, as well as a guaranteed Major Arcana for Shuffle Time.
Some doors will even contain Monad’s Path, which also contains powerful weapons as well as character outfits for your party.
Additionally, SEGA also revealed the official renders for Mitsuru, Akihiko and Fuuka, all sporting their new SEES uniforms as well as their Personas.
