Persona 3 Reload, the remake of the 2006 RPG title, has reached one million copies in sales within the first week of its launch.
According to the ATLUS West Twitter post, reaching this milestone also cements Persona 3 Reload as the fastest-selling game in ATLUS history.

ATLUS also expressed their thanks for the community support, and that they look forward to breaking more records together.
In an interview we previously had with Persona Series Production Manager Kazuhisa Wada, he mentioned that Persona 3 Reload has been in the works for approximately four years.
With one year being dedicated to building the game for different platforms and support for more languages.
He also mentioned that Persona 3 was a huge turning point in the Persona Series, making it a special title for ATLUS.
With so much effort put into the remake, ATLUS would surely be relieved to see that their special title is being well-received by fans all over the world.
This new Persona entry by ATLUS is a remake of the original that was released in 2006, and is the fourth main installment in the Persona series,Â
After its original release for the PS2, it has received multiple enhanced re-releases and ports such as Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable before eventually receiving its full remake.
