Persona 3 Reload Gets an Official Webtoon That’s Free to Read

With Persona 3 Reload launching worldwide today, the highly acclaimed JRPG by ATLUS will also be getting an official Webtoon adaptation.

Announced on the official ATLUS West twitter account, the Webtoon adatpation titled “Persona 3 Reload: Beginnings” is free to read on the WEBTOON website, and will take readers through the game’s adventure in comic form.

The Persona 3 Reload: Beginnings Webtoon is created by Merryweather Media, an art and entertainment studio based in Tokyo and Singapore, and as of time of writing, there are currently two chapters that are available to read, with new chapters coming out every Friday.

The official synopsis of the Webtoon is as follows:

“Hidden between one day and the next is a mysterious phenomenon called the Dark Hour: a time period where otherworldly creatures prey on human psyches, leaving behind victims with the debilitating Apathy Syndrome. In the midst of this darkness, the unknowing second-year transfer student Makoto Yuki arrives at Gekkoukan High School – and through a chance encounter, or perhaps fate itself, awakens a new power within…”

Persona 3 Reload is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam, as well as Xbox Game Pass for the month of February.
