The first big announcement of the Persona 25th Anniversary is underway, with a new merch store to celebrate 25 years of the Shin Megami Tensei spinoff.
Kicking off the website is a new key art for the anniversary, featuring all the mainline protagonists of the Persona games (including the alternate gendered playable characters) striking a pose together on the couch.
This website features a lot of the merchandise originally announced back in July when they first announced celebrations of the milestone for Atlus’ supernatural JRPG.
However, there’s also plenty new to look forward to on the site. Chief of these is the new Velvet Room-themed watch, which comes engraved with the Velvet Room emblem on the back. It’s available for 14080 Yen (RM 534.23).
There’s also a lot of the standard celebration merch, such as keyrings, acrylic stands, card holders and bookmarks, all featuring Persona characters as well as the various promotional arts for the milestone event.
These can be purchased either through the Atlus website, or the Animate Online store just like the earlier announced merchandise.
The past year has been huge for Atlus- Persona 4 Golden became the first Persona game to release on PC, doing incredibly well and renewing hopes of more widely released Persona titles. This year they also have Shin Megami Tensei V- the first main-line SMT game in years- releasing later this year. Topping it off with the Persona 25th Anniversary is just a formula for excitement for the developer.
