Peridot is the next Niantic AR game

Niantic is working on another AR game in their expansive portfolio of similar titles, in Peridot.

Discover the fantastical world of Peridot, an upcoming real-world adventure pet game where you care for one-of-a-kind adorable creatures, raise them to adulthood as you explore the world together, and re-diversify their species to protect them from extinction.

Niantic says that Peridot will be entering soft launch soon, initially available in limited markets for beta testing. Players can register their email address via the sign-up website for updates and for when the app will be available in your region. The overview for the game is given as follows:
