Developer Flamebait Games has just put up a new gameplay trailer for Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist. The game, which has you take on the role of artist building their career from zero, is scheduled to launch for the Android and iOS platforms. Also planned is a release on the PC via Steam.
A description for Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist as follows via its store page:
The Story So Far
Your name, Passpartout, was on everyone’s lips in Paris until the incident. Some time after your mysterious disapperance the interest eventually faded, though some still wonder what happened. You wake up another day in your seaside retreat, a safe refuge from the art world that once burnt you. But this isn’t just another day. Your landlord has finally had enough with your bouncing checks and puts you on the street! You must again pick up your brush and reclaim your lost glory by taking a place in the draconian curator’s Museum of the Masters, or be forever remembered as a failed artist!
Explore the Cozy Town of Phénix
Break free from the confinements of the studio and explore the endearing puppet town of Phénix. Draw and sell art on the go using your handy foldable easel. Get to know the residents and what makes them tick. Help them out with commissions, like drawing a new logo for Steve’s café or a mural for the school! Or why not buy a studio so you can work from home, just like the good old days?
Expand Your Repertoire!
Use your hard-earned cash to treat yourself in the art supplies store. Maybe one of the many new tools will tickle your fancy? The crayon they just got in stock looks pretty sweet! Or perhaps that limited edition of a banana-shaped canvas? You as an artist needs every edge you can get to stand out! The residents of Phénix may also possess some cool items they could part with, if you help them out of course.
