Konami Digital Entertainment has revealed the 10 professional football clubs participating in the eFootball League 2019/20 season! This comprises of eFootball.Open, eFootball.Pro and the newly announced eFootball Season Program.
Registrations for eFootball.Open are open for players to participate in Konami’s 1v1 esports tournament. eFootball athletes will begin their journey by selecting one of 10 clubs which they will compete with for the duration of the tournament, utilizing the new Matchday mode in eFootball PES 2020. The clubs are as follows:
- FC Barcelona
- Manchester United FC
- FC Bayern
- Juventus
- Arsenal FC
- Celtic FC
- AS Monaco
- FC Schalke 04
- Boavista FC
- FC Nantes

eFootball.Open divides players into “Basic”, “Intermediate” and “Expert” levels, to create football’s most accessible esports competition. Matches will take place every two weeks. Player categories are determined according to their Online Divisions rating.
Only “Expert” level players will be able to progress to Regional, then World Finals. These players will get their chance to earn prize money, and attention of the world’s top football clubs as they scout for future eFootball stars around the world.
It doesn’t stop there. The eFootball Season Program encourages and rewards players for participating in eFootball. PC, console and mobile players can win in-game items for their chosen club in eFootball.Open when playing Matchday. The season program lets players earn myClub Coins, Gold, Black Ball Agents and more depending on points earned during Matchday.
