The game is a park-management sim akin to Zoo Tycoon. In Parkasaurus, you have to manage both the books for the park as well as the welfare for your Dinosaur exhibits.

The game’s bright art style gives it a very colorful look, but don’t let it fool you. Developers Washbear Studios say the dinosaurs are more than capable of breaking out of their exhibits and preventing that is another of your responsibilities.

Taking care of the dinosaurs is no easy task either, as each dinosaur has basic needs like food, water and an appropriate biosphere.

Thankfully you won’t be doing this alone, as part of the gameplay involves choosing a team of employees and managing them.

You’ll also have to raise your dinosaurs from young, which is a unique feature of the game. In many other dinosaur park sims, you usually only receive the dinosaur when it’s grown up.

On the topic of dinosaurs, Washbear Studios says the game includes 24 different species of dinosaur. However, they also said more species would be added at a later date.

This game’s not just for the dinosaur fans, however. Parkasaurus features access to data on guest behavior, allowing you to build the optimal park for your guests to enjoy. You’ll also have to take care of things like a dinosaur’s privacy to protect their well-being.

Parkasaurus is developed and published by Washbear Studios, a small team of two. The game also offers Steam Workshop support to allow fans to mod in their own attractions.
