PaniPani – A Side-Scrolling RPG Playable With One Finger

PaniPani is a game developed by COLOPL that brought us White Cat Project. They had recently launched a beta test for their upcoming game PaniPani. The game is a side-scrolling mobile RPG which only requires 1 finger to play it. A pretty neat and easy wait to play a mobile RPG no?

Be it simplistic as it may, PaniPani has a story that revolves around thirteen year old middle and high school students that was enveloped with light and disappeared. What they faced later was the King of Darkness. Players will get to choose between two main characters either Thor (Male) or Kaguya (Female). Though the game is an open world concept, there are main quests which helps give depth and story in the game.

There are actually virtual sticks to control the movements and attack with a simple tap. There is no need to keep tapping on the monster as it will attack the monsters automatically when you have selected them. Because the RPG is set in an open world, when you die, you will not be able to fight. The only way to revive is either wait for some other characters to revive you or you’ll revive back on your last check point.

As you dwell further into the game, you gain skills and special abilities. Like RPG games, you will need to farm materials to craft more powerful equipment and weapons to aid you in combat.
