In the first trailer above, we get to see Talon council member Maximilien and glimpses of the new Havana map based in Cuba. A new character, Sojourn, who was part of old Overwatch, has also been introduced in the second trailer. It’s revealed that he’s communicating with Strike-Commander Morrison to discuss on the team’s conflict with the evil council, Doomfist which Maximilien is associated with. The trailer also reveals that Tracer has been assigned with the mission alongside Mercy, Winston and Genji to target Maximilian instead of going for Doomfist directly.
Storm Rising takes place six years before present time and we expect it to be carried out in almost the same way as the returning Uprising and Retribution. Players will be able to play different replayable missions to learn more about the Overwatch organization’s history to earn rewards as more than 160 cosmetic items await. Storm Rising will undoubtedly feature a variety of PvE story missions and game modes, along with rare loot boxes that contain event-exclusive items such as hero skins and more.
