Overwatch 2 PvP live stream announced in dev update video

Aaron Keller, the new game director of Overwatch, continued the tradition of delivering dev update videos after the departure of Jeff Kaplan. Keller’s dev update video was brief, but he promised more details about the PvP gameplay of Overwatch 2. You can watch the video here:

The Overwatch 2 PvP gameplay will be revealed this Thursday, May 20th at 12pm noon PDT. Players can watch the live stream via Twitch and YouTube. 

According to a press release:

From new maps to major gameplay updates, we’re reinvigorating the core Overwatch experience. Hosted by Matt “Mr. X” Morello and Mitch “Uber” Leslie, viewers will join Game Director – Aaron Keller, Lead Hero Designer – Geoff Goodman and Associate Art Director – Dion Rogers as they share live Overwatch 2 gameplay for a 2-hour livestream experience. The livestream will also feature guests appearances by Overwatch content-creators Stylosa, and Cuppcaake!

Furthermore, with Overwatch’s 5th Anniversary happening tomorrow on 18th May 2021, players can expect new skins and a lot of content to enjoy. In addition, there will be an AMA on the game’s subreddit on 24th May where the dev team will discuss the development of the game over the past 5 years.
