As Overwatch 2 reaches its 16th Season, the collaboration will drop exactly a week after starting April 29.
As far as other character announcements have gone, Mercy is the only revealed hero for this collaboration. Which would suggest that she may receive a special collaborative skin alongside other heroes, taking direct inspiration from the Gundam Wings series.

This collaboration is in celebration of 30 years since Mobile Suit Gundam Wings was first released. Not only will this collaboration honor the long withstanding legacy of Gundam Wing, but it will also serve as a new beginning for a wider audience outside of the Gundam community, introducing the franchise’s well depicted themes of war and peace to the futuristic fans of Overwatch.

Follow the official Overwatch X account to be kept up to date with any more upcoming news that will arise for this collaboration.
