Isekai fans will definitely enjoy this collaboration event between the Overlord mobile game Mass for the dead and the Konosuba series!
A brief summary for these anime series:
Overlord follows the main protagonist Momonga as he finds himself trapped into the world of a MMORPG game called YGGDRASIL when the servers for the game shut down. While being trapped in this fantasy world, Momonga begins exploring the world in an attempt to figure out what had happened.
Meanwhile for the summary of Konosuba, our protagonist Kazuma was originally a Japanese teenage Shut-In until he met a goddess named Aqua at the time of his death. Kazuma was then reincarnated into a fantasy world where all he has going for him is his above than normal luck stat and the less than beneficial goddess who got transported into the fantasy world with Kazuma.
Mass for the dead is mobile game based on the Overlord series which is available for both Android and iOS. The gameplay features a turn-based genre where players need to choose their course of action to defeat the enemies.
In this collaboration event, although there isn’t any more official details regarding it. It’s safe to assume there will be a summoning banner featuring the main cast of the Konosuba series which include:
- Kazuma
- Aqua
- Megumin
- Darkness
The event date in which this collaboration will take place will be on the August 1st according to their official Twitter page.
