Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD Global announces shut down

Just barely under a year since the game began service, the global servers for Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD will be shut down. The following is a notice provided in game, which you can also find here:

Thank you for playing “MASS FOR THE DEAD”.
We are incredibly grateful to have loyal fans along our journey with us in Nazarick.
Today, we must share that MASS FOR THE DEAD will come to an end.
From all the partners involved in this development and publishing process, Trys and Crunchyroll Games, we appreciate the continuous support of the game and the love for the OVERLORD anime.

In advance of sunsetting the game, in-app purchases will be available until 3/1/2021 (Mon) 0:00 (UTC), when the game’s playment system will be turned off.
Thereafter, the game will not be accepting any in-app payments or refunds.

MASS FOR THE DEAD will continue to be playable until 3/31/2021 7:00 (UTC), at which point the game will be shut down.

As is usually the case, the Japanese version is still running, so if you want to continue playing, that’s an option. Unfortunately, sticking around for the game shut down will probably not isekai you into the title, so let us bid farewell to Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD‘s global servers.
