As players look forward to a 7 December launch date, publisher Crypton Future Media has announced that Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage will not be supported in other Asian, and Southeast Asia (SEA) regions. Instead, players in these Asian / SEA regions will have to wait longer for their release of Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage which will be managed by Nuverse.
This announcement can be found on Twitter, stating the following:
First, we would like to thank you all for the incredible support you’ve given us since the official announcement of “Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!”. We are overwhelmed by the incredible response we’ve seen from you all and your dedication to our game.
While we wish to bring players from all around the world together, the “Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!” official channels unfortunately do not offer game support for SEA and other Asian regions. Nuverse Ltd. is planned to be serving SEA region.
We understand your passion for the title. We hope that you stay tuned for news in the near future regarding a launch in your region.
Whether this means that pre-registrations will have to be done all over again is presently unclear. It’s unfortunate that this news comes so close to the global launch, since fans were surely excited for the release. In any case, you’ll have to keep waiting for Miku and co until then.
