Surprising no one, the wildly popular Oshi No Ko is getting a season 2, releasing some time next year.
In a short teaser posted today, they confirmed that the next arc of the manga, the 5D Stage Play arc, would be adapted for season 2.
The teaser doesn’t show much- just some short snippets of Arima Kana, Kurokawa Akane and Hoshino Aqua all sharing dialogue from the upcoming arc.
Other information like a concrete season or release date has not been announced yet.
Without getting into spoilers, Season 2 of Oshi No Ko will pick up where the last season left off- with the production of a 5D Stage Play featuring the aforementioned characters.
Oshi No Ko has been one of the biggest anime releases this year, due largely in part to its hour-long first episode and opening credits song by popular music duo Yoasobi.
Since its release there’s been a variety of pop up store collaborations featuring the characters, as well as game crossovers.
The manga is currently ongoing, written by Kaguya Sama: Love Is War author Aka Akasaka and follows two reincarnated twins making their way through the entertainment world while hiding they’re the secret children of fallen legendary idol Hoshino Ai.
