Via its official Twitter account, Bandai Namco announced that Super Robot Wars DD, its latest mobile Super Robot Wars game has surpassed the 100,000 pre-registration mark shortly after its announcement last month.
We also get to see for the first time, the main original character of the game and a new mech to go with it.
- Daedalion
This humanoid weapon was discovered onboard the alien ship Elezard. Its power source is capable of high energy output, granting it immense combat capabilities. Other abilities are unknown at this point.
- Dido
This mysterious teenager is tied to the existence Daedalion. Seemingly cold at first, Dido has a strong sense of justice and an even more powerful fighting spirit. He avoids conflict when possible, but will not hesitate when push comes to shove.
Meanwhile, with the number of pre-registrations surpassing its goal, all players will be able to receive an SSR unit part for the main heroine, Meg. Super Robot Wars DD is scheduled for launch in Japan for iOS and Android in 2019.
