Orient Arcadia release date in Japan announced

Orient Arcadia has announced its release date in Japan. The mobile game from Qookka Games is, as you might expect from its name and general aesthetics, one heavily inspired by typical Chinese / wuxia material. Pre-registrations remain open for Orient Arcadia ahead of the release date, set for 9 April 2022. The 400,000 original milestone has long been achieved, offering premium currency, SSR guaranteed ticket and a limited icon frame.

As the story goes, the spiritual energy of opposing dragons created both a land and leaving behind relics with mysterious powers, said to give one the power to rule the world. The protagonist is an ordinary guy who arrived at this certain “Utopia of the Orient” by chance, encountering both monsters and heroes and somehow saving the world. And still, he will need to confront his fate of apparently becoming a demon king…

Orient Arcadia doesn’t appear to have a very complicated game system, where you field a party of 6 into battle, the strategy coming from team composition and their position. Interestingly, characters can be easily swapped in and out, with the replacement inheriting the stats of the previous unit. There are also mini games and the usual “bond with your characters” mechanics.
