OPUS: Prism Peak Official Gameplay Trailer And Release Window Revealed At Triple-i

Indie game studio Sigono unveiled the official gameplay trailer and release window for their story-driven adventure game, OPUS: Prism Peak.

Created by the developers of OPUS: Echo of Starsong, this anticipated release blends post-apocalypse with mystical detours.

Players are thrust into the story of a middle-aged photojournalist seeking a solitary life away from the stress of the city. From there, he meets an unexpected turn of events as he is left stranded in a mysterious mountain mountain realm, meeting at a crossroads with a strange young girl.

In order to find a way back home and uncover the truth of this strange place, players must gather clues to piece together the whole narrative, all with nothing but an old camera at hand.

Capturing A Reflection

When taking photographs in OPUS: Prism Peak, it will reflect on the protagonists view of the world around him. Photography in the game will allow the player to observe their surroundings, understanding the desires of spirits and all their secrets through a simple lens.

Unfolding Companionship

The protagonist’s first encounter when he wakes into this strange world is a young girl with no memory of her identity. She is revealed as one of the spirits residing in the realm, holding in her a strange sense that she needed to help grownups with their struggles.

As they venture the world together, she helps the protagonist view the world differently from a new perspective.

Magic Grounded In Reality

The world in which the player must embark in is unlike anything reality could ever hope to offer. As humanity is all but nonexistent, animal spirits are all that remain of the world.

It is believed that if one could capture one other in a moment in time, they will continue to live.

Sensual Spirits

The protagonist will encounter spirits throughout the game that have the ability to grow closer to the player depending on the choices they make. This in turn shapes the destination that awaits the protagonist as the story progresses.

OPUS: Prism Peak is available on PC and Mac via Steam. It is set to release in 2025 with no official detailed date announced yet.
