Black Inc. has just launched OOParts, a galge cloud gaming platform in Japan with more than 100 playable titles for both PC and mobile devices.
Between 24 April 2020 and 26 April 2020, the service is free to try with no strings attached. After that, the service will set you back JPY 3,000 a month, although there is currently a launch price of JPY 1,000.
Some of the titles available on the library right now include One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e, Phantom Integration, Sengoku Rance, School Days HQ, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 1, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 2, Daiakuji, Kikokugai, Kira Kira, Maitetsu, Vampirdzhija Vjedogonia and Yumeutsusu Re:Master. What is interesting is that some titles offer an English language option too, but you will have to try it out yourself to see which those are.
As mentioned earlier, OOParts is a cloud gaming service, so game installs and save data management are not required on the end of the user. With one account, you will be able to log on any supported device to continue playing. Certainly a novel idea, although the rather steep price point might turn away quite a number of people. There is of course the fact that the majority of the titles available are in Japanese, which limits the user base even further. However, if price is no concern and you can understand moonrunes, this is probably a good way to get your visual novel fix.
