The card game spin off from Netease’s popular Onmyoji series, creatively named Omyoji: The Card Game, launches in Japan today. The game itself has already available in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Australia, presumably with more territories to come. For those who intend to hop in to the English version, do note that it shares the server with the China release, and thus will not begin from the first season.
The Japan release for Onmyoji: The Card Game presumably will not be encountering this issue. At time of writing, there is no announcement regarding this collaboration, but the Japan server will get the Kumamon collaboration from 19 November to 9 December. Find the missing pieces of Kumamon’s painting to get limited items, as well as exchange items in the event shop for more goodies. A limited time collaboration card back design will also be up for grabs.
It’s not the first time the series has collaborated with Kumamon, the previous one being with Onmyoji Arena. If you want to head over to the Japanese release of the card game, they’ll be offering the standard beginner goodies like guaranteed SSRs, new purchase rewards and the like. There’s even a LINE Points giveaway for reaching certain milestones, with details to be available on the official Twitter.
