Earlier today, Netflix has revealed the cast for the live action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga, One Piece. The streaming giant has revealed who the actors are for five of the main characters, namely:

Oda, who serves as executive producer for the live action adaptation, shared a special message to the One Piece cast over on the One Piece Netflix Twitter account, which you can see above.
Netflix also revealed Wanted posters for the actors, which you can see below:
Currently, there is no exact release date for the show, which is supposedly 10 episodes long. Considering the sheer length of the One Piece anime, which is approaching 1,000 episodes at the time of writing, one could only imagine how much of the source material will the Netflix series adapt. The script of the first episode was teased by Netflix Geeked back in September, so you can check it out if you’re curious.
Netflix has been actively working to get live action adaptation of anime into its platform. Besides One Piece, other anime IPs that are getting the same treatment include Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop, with the latter airing on the platform later this month on November 19.
