Odin: Valhalla Rising release date announced

Odin: Valhalla Rising, an upcoming PC and mobile MMORPG from Lionheart Studio and Kakao Games, finally has a release date in sight. The game will release on June 29, 2021 in South Korea.

Kakao Games revealed the release date for Odin: Valhalla Rising during an online showcase earlier today, June 2, 2021. You can watch the virtual showcase here:

Besides the virtual showcase, the publisher also uploaded numerous videos on YouTube regarding the game.

If Odin: Valhalla Rising sounds like something you would like to try out, you can secure your character’s name and select your server now. To do this, register your email through the game’s pre-registration page. Since the opening of the game’s pre-registration on April 28, nearly 2.5 million players have pre-registered for the game at the time of writing.

Besides the pre-registration, the game can be pre-downloaded through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on June 28, and will be officially released on mobile and PC platforms on June 29.

While there is still no word of an English release, the popularity of the game coupled with Kakao Games’ track record as an international publisher are positive signs of localization. Only time will tell if the game ever gets an English version.
