Octopath Traveler Now Available on PS4 and PS5

Octopath Traveler is now available to purchase and play on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Following the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee’s rating of Octopath Traveler on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, spotted yesterday, Publisher Square Enix and developer ACQUIRE Corp have officially released Octopath Traveler for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

This announcement was made by Square Enix via a post on their official X account alongside the release of a trailer for the bundle package containing Octopath Traveler and its sequel, Octopath Traveler II.

Similar to the 12+ rating provided by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, this game is rated Teen on the PlayStation Store, with warnings given for mentions and visual depictions of blood, fantasy violence, mild language, suggestive themes, use of alcohol and tobacco.

The game is available to purchase on the PlayStation Store for a price of $59.99 USD for both platforms.

Alternatively, prospective players can also purchase a game bundle consisting of Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II at a discounted rate of $74.99 USD.

For those out of the loop, Octopath Traveler is a JRPG where players follow the adventures of up to 8 playable characters at the same time, each with their own circumstances and stories to tell.
