Square Enix announced the release of the playable demo of Octopath Traveler II for several platforms. Available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam, players are able to choose any of the eight protagonists and play for three hours.
Additionally. players who play through the Octopath Traveler II prologue demo can carry over their save date to the full game.
For the unfamiliar, Octopath Traveler II is the latest entry in the Octopath Traveler series. The first installment of the game was initially released back in 2018 and is the pioneer of the HD-2D graphics that shows off gorgeous sprite art.
Similar to the original game, Octopath Traveler II will let players take control of eight different characters with their own goals and stories for traveling around the land. The game features a turn-based combat system along with a job system that changes characters in the game to different classes.

Octopath Traveler II is set to release on 24th February 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
