NetEase Games has announced that it will be publishing Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent in the SEA region, with the game set to release next month.
In a post on Facebook, the company confirmed that Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent would release for the SEA region on December 17th for iOS and Android devices.
Additionally, pre-registration for the game is available from today with a total of 620 Rubies and more if they can hit over 500,000 pre-registrations.
Champions of the Continent is a mobile spinoff of the JRPG series Octopath Traveler, and focuses on three major antagonists for you to pursue, symbolizing Wealth, Power and Fame.
Just like its console counterpart, players will build a party of eight characters, each with their own skills and specialties to combat enemies set against the game’s signature HD-2D art style.
While the game originally launched as a Japan-exclusive title, it soon also got a Global release, though as is the case with many Square Enix mobile games the SEA region was excluded from this effort.
NetEase Games publishes a broad portfolio of titles in the SEA region, with licensed titles like Harry Potter: Magic Awakened as well as original IP like Identity V and Life After.
