The official Exclusive Beta launch of the NVIDIA GeForce NOW cloud gaming service in Malaysia has been announced by Yes by YTL Communications following the initial announcement of the collaboration back in December.
Cloud gaming on GeForce NOW will effectively allow any device to play high quality games through the processing power of the service and Yes are utilizing this to highlight the importance of their 5G network.
As long as users are connected to the internet, users can enjoy a gaming experience at any time they choose and the experience would be smoother and more responsive when using a 5G network.
Yes says that this collaboration with NVIDIA would help remove the upfront cost of gaming equipment and high-storage systems which in turn would allow for more Malaysians to enjoy gaming.
“We are proud to finally bring our collaboration with NVIDIA in Malaysia into fruition and kick start our Exclusive Beta phase of the GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform,” and “Through this Exclusive Beta launch, we hope to deliver to our customers and gamers an unparalleled entertainment experience, amplified with Yes 5G, allowing them to explore their fullest gaming potential before anyone else.” says Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications.
GeForce NOW is a cloud service platform that will connect to most major game platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect which would allow gamers to sync their games as long as cloud sync saving is supported.
Not only that, gamers will have access to titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Destiny 2 and many more through this service.
Existing customers of Yes 5G can participate in the Exclusive Beta by signing up at the official website, while those new to Yes 5G must subscribe to Yes in order to enjoy this early access benefit.
