NVIDIA is set to transform the Vietnam iCafe scene with its latest GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series products, along with a series of events and programs.
Vietnam’s iCafe market has witnessed a revival since the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, as approximately 14,000 iCafes are operational, featuring an estimated 280,000 PCs; the resurgence is bolstered by over 650 active GeForce-certified iCafes, with around 200 new certifications annually.
A key highlight for NVIDIA’s iCafe ecosystem last year was the iCafe Discovery Program, which saw the participation of 20 top Vietnamese iCafe owners .
The program focused on introducing and integrating the GeForce RTX 40 series upgrades into their business models.
Additionally, the Hanoi GeForce Fans Party, attended by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, took place at Vikings iCafe in Hanoi, which attracted over 400 on-site attendees while garnering more than 1 million views online.
The fan party featured the latest GeForce technologies and provided a platform for gamers to interact and engage in CS2 matches against teams of KOLs.
Another major initiative is the NVIDIA Reflex iCafe Attack, an ongoing CS2 tournament culminating on 28th January 2024, where the tournament boasts a prize pool of 120 million VND, marking the biggest CS2 event in Vietnam.
Over 70 iCafes across 12 cities have participated, with more than 500 gamers competing in the qualifiers, while the final event includes regional qualifiers and a country final in Ho Chi Minh City.
A significant milestone in this series of initiatives is the iCafe certification with the adoption of the latest GeForce RTX 40 SUPER graphics cards.
Project X-23, located in Binh Thanh District, HCMC, has become the first iCafe in the region to upgrade to the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER PCs, with the project planning to expand further with an initial installation of 10 units of ASUS RTX 4070 SUPER graphics cards, followed by an additional 50 units of RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics cards for a new Project X-23 opening in District 7, HCMC.
