Yesterday, NVIDIA announced the new Battlefield V bundle along with other updates in conjunction with Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Players who buy a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 2080 or 2070-based graphics card or desktop PC will get a free copy of Battlefield V. The promotion will run through 7th January 2019 or while stock lasts. Last week, Battlefield V became the first game to utilise DXR ray tracing through an in-game patch.
On the other hand, NVIDIA is hosting a Shot With GeForce Ansel contest for Battlefield V. The photo competition involves players taking beautiful NVIDIA Ansel in-game photos in War Stories single player mode. The participant with the best photo can win a GeForce RTX graphics card. Participants have to upload the photo to selected social media. The competition will run until 16th December 2018.
Furthermore, NVIDIA has also announced that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is the first game to use the new NVIDIA Adaptive Shading (NAS). The NAS adjusts the rate at which portions of the screen are shaded. This reduces the GPU usage thus increase the overall performance of the game. NVIDIA added the NAS into Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus through an in-game patch. In addition to the NAS, the game already uses a number of new Turing-architecture improvements. Together, they increase the performance up to 70% faster than their Pascal predecessors.
Lastly,the Game Ready Driver was announced to be optimised for Darksiders III. They further clarified that the driver will be available on or before the launch of Darksiders III.
